-   Trauma: ankle injury

-  Evening/immobility

-  Extent

-  Foot, knee, thigh, testicles, abdomen (Ascities)

-   Able to wear shoes, indentations

-  Anasarca

-  Ascities: liver disease

-  Pitting: interstitial fluid (renal, heart, liver)

-  Non-pitting: lymphoedema

-  Anuria/oliguria

-  Smoking

-  EtOH

-  Drugs
