Indications

-  ESRD

-  45% DM

-  25% HTN

-  GN, PKD, obstructive uropathy

-  Mx of

-  ARF or CRF

-  Uraemic syndroe

-  No repsponse to conservative Mx

-  Increased ECF fluid volume

-  Acidosis w no improvement on meds

-  Bleeding diathesis

-  CCr < 10 ml/min
