Uses

-  Broad spectrum

-  Infectious diarrhoea /Travellers diarrhoea

-  Salmonella, Camplyobacter, Shigella, Vibrio, Yersinnia, except C. difficile

-  Bacterial prostatitis, UTI

-  Neisseria, HIB, Moraxella, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Legionella, Pseudomonas aueriginosa, Mycobacterium tuberculosis

 

Drugs

-  Ciprofloxacin

-  Recommended for UTIs resistant to Trimethoprim & Sulphamethoxazole (Sulphonamides)

-  Pseudomonas aueriginosa

-  Moxifloxacin

-  Norfloxacin

 

Side Effects
