-  Abdominal/pelvic scars

-  As indicator for difficulty of LUSCS as needed

-  Vertical incision: possible classical incision

-  Pfannenstiel incision: previous LUSCS

-  Assessment of gravid uterus

-  Symphysiofundal height

-  Leopold manouvres

-  Uterine tenderness: abruption, chorioamnionitis

-  Rigid uterus (Couvelaire): abruption

-  Contractions/tightenings: labour, Braxton Hicks

-  Pelvic pain

-  Suprapubic: UTI, fetal head engaging

-  In labour: scar pain (VBAC): uterine rupture

-  Vaginal exam

-  Cervix, station, Bishops score..

-  Speculum exam

-  Perineal trauma: perineal tear, episiotomy
